The PLUSS Framework (Sanford, Brown & Turner, 2012) was created to enhance existing instructional and intervention programs with linguistic and cultural support for Multilingual learners (or English learners). The PLUSS booklet contains more description of the components of the PLUSS framework.
Linked below are the video self-observation forms that can be used for self or peer observation or observation of our videos. The observation forms focus on both implementation of the PLUSS framework and student learning and engagement. We have found that after working with teachers on a new strategy, the video self-reflection process was an effective way for teachers to collaborate, practice, self-reflect, and to adjust their instruction.

We have now made the book available in Spanish so that it is accessible to more instructors, schools, and their teams and further support EL students in their academic environment.
